This charmingly decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath sunny bungalow is only three blocks from our inn, a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Brevard and two blocks from the Brevard Music Center. A vine covered arbor, private front patio and antique carved front door welcome guests to a special place to relax and enjoy the area.

Guests will enjoy the privacy of the mountain bungalow only steps away from everything downtown Brevard has to offer. While we don't include breakfast at the inn for Bungalow guests, your stay does include freshly roasted Red House Inn coffee from The Brown Bean, and we recommend picking up artisan pastries and breads from Bracken Mountain Bakery so you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure. Listen to the birds, sip morning coffee and watch the sun rise from the patio before shopping downtown or hiking to one of Transylvania county’s many waterfalls. The house is also a base to explore the miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and fly fishing streams in and around Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest.

The kitchen includes service for 6 and necessary cooking utensils as well as Red House Inn coffee freshly roasted in downtown Brevard at The Brown Bean. A stroll to town will yield fresh local produce, bread, wine, meat and dairy for a home cooked meal. Brevard’s Tailgate Market, Bracken Mountain Bakery and The Proper Pot are within walking distance as are many choices for dining out.

Reserve the Bungalow: Two options

1. One-level living

An economical option for a single guest or couple who don't need a whole house but are looking for space and privacy.

Main Level - Sleeps 2

• Queen bedroom
• Bathroom with tub/shower
• Living room, well-equipped kitchen and dining room

Includes a bright and sunny bedroom with queen bed, a full bath with shower / tub combo and skylight, living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen with all appliances including microwave, toaster oven and dishwasher. From the upper driveway, this option offers one-level living - no stairs. There is also access to the mud room/laundry area downstairs–perfect for storing bikes or hanging waders. $200 per night

2. Reserve both levels

In addition to the main level, add two more bedrooms and one bath downstairs, $25 nightly for each additional guest. For example, 4 guests is $250 per night, 6 guests is $300 per night.

Lower level - Sleeps up to 4

• King bedroom with flat screen TV
• 2 double beds in third bedroom
• Bathroom with walk-in tile shower
• Walk out to a large open deck with seating for 6 and a hammock for enjoying the view

Both options include wireless internet, a TV in the living room with basic digital cable and a DVD player, board games, books and central air conditioning. There is no land line phone in the Bungalow so guests should bring a cell phone.

The Bungalow is a special vacation rental. Guests staying at the Bungalow will enjoy the added privacy of the house but also continue to benefit from the Red House Inn service. The beds are made with Comphy sheets and bathrooms stocked with Turkish Towel bath linens and Gilchrist and Soames bath amenities.
